Everything, answered honestly.

What is Shakihi?

Shakihi is a creative studio that builds brands, websites, social media, and operational systems for wellness, travel, and creative businesses. The name comes from a word meaning love, and that's the method: every brand we build has to pass one test, does it come from care?

What services does Shakihi offer?

Seven, built to work as one system or stand alone: branding (identity, voice, and story), web design, social media strategy and management, operations (workflows, SOPs, and practical AI), growth and market entry, launch packages for new practitioners and founders, and Strategy Day, a one-day facilitated intensive that ends with a plan you believe in.

Who does Shakihi work with?

Wellness practitioners, travel and hospitality brands, and creatives, from acupuncturists and bodyworkers opening their first practice to boutique hotels, retreats, and product lines preparing for growth. If you're launching, repositioning, or expanding, we build the pieces you need.

What makes Shakihi different from other branding agencies?

Two things: we build brand, web, content, and operations as one system rather than disconnected parts, and we've lived both sides of the work. Shakihi is led by an operations consultant with over fifteen years building infrastructure for a global luxury travel brand across 26 markets, and a certified acupuncturist and Lomilomi practitioner who built a wellness practice from the ground up.

Where is Shakihi based? Do you work with clients remotely?

Shakihi is based in British Columbia, Canada, on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, and we work with clients internationally. Our portfolio spans the Netherlands, Mallorca, and Hawaiian wellness programs, and we've personally run market entries in Spain, New York, and Greece.

Do I have to buy the whole system, or can I hire you for one piece?

One piece is fine. Take just a brand identity, just a website, or just a Strategy Day, or the whole system from first brand strokes to a business that runs beautifully. Whatever we build, you leave with clarity, ownership, and something you can run yourself. No retainers you can't escape.

How much does a project cost?

Every project is scoped individually, because a solo practitioner opening her first studio and a hotel entering a new market need very different things. Tell us what you're creating and where you want it to go (email hello@shakihi.com) and we'll reply with honest thoughts and a clear scope. No mystery.

Can you help me launch a new wellness practice or creative business?

Yes, that's exactly what our Launch service is for. It covers everything between I'm ready and I'm booked: brand, website, booking or shop setup, pricing, insurance and the paperwork nobody warns you about, and a 90-day plan to your first full calendar. We've built every piece ourselves, as both consultant and practitioner.

Do you help businesses expand into new markets or countries?

Yes. Our growth and market entry service covers the roadmap, pricing and offer structure, local setup, and partnerships. We've personally opened markets in Spain, New York, and Greece, and built compliance frameworks that held up across 26 markets. Expansion is not a mystery to us.

What is a Strategy Day?

A Strategy Day is a one-day facilitated intensive for founders and teams who need clarity more than another deliverable. It includes pre-day discovery, a full-day session where your whole business goes on the table, a growth and innovation roadmap, and a 30-day follow-up call, built on methods we've facilitated for the Acumen Fund in New York and the Museum of Happiness in London.

Do you manage social media, or teach us to run it ourselves?

Either. We build a content strategy rooted in your voice, then run it with you, or hand you the calendars, templates, and playbook so you can run it yourself. Your business is yours; we mean that literally.

How do we start working together?

Email hello@shakihi.com or use the contact page and tell us what you're creating and where you want it to go. We'll reply with honest thoughts on how we can help, and honest thoughts on whether we're the right fit.
